EMMANUEL SHIRINIAN is an accomplished screenwriter, director & actor who graduated from the Concordia University Film Studies program. He is also an alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre’s prestigious director’s lab. He was one of 6 directors across Canada invited to participate at the National Screen Institute’s Features First Program and was invited amongst a select group to participate in the esteemed TRIBECA ALL ACCESS development program in New York City. His short films have played at film festivals around the world and his first feature film as a writer & director, IT WAS YOU CHARLIE, had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea and was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for best achievements in Cinematography. In addition to writing and directing, Emmanuel can also be seen in front of the camera; Credits include performances in films, AFGHAN LUKE, LES SOFTIES and most recently, he can be seen in supporting roles in the CBC comedy series CRAWFORD and the CBC drama CORONER being released in the winter 2019. Emmanuel is currently working on his next feature film as well he’s in development with his new Television Series titled, ABRAHAM, a psychological crime thriller set in Toronto and the Middle East.
